I've been up since about 3:30 this morning. Some drunk driver slammed into car in front of my house. AND he tried to hide his open case of beer behind my tree.

Sometimes I can be such a klutz. I might have been paying a little too much attention to the segment on television than to the vegetables I was cutting up for dinner. Luckily it wasn't a bad cut. Cleaned and bandaged and ready to get back to cooking. I'm starving!

It's been awhile since I made it back home for a visit. I'm pretty excited to be Chicago bound! I don't leave until Wednesday morning but I'll be there for just over a week. I figure I'll use the rest of my vacation around Christmas. Only so much rolls over and I haven't taken more than a day or two off all year. I think I'm entitled to a nice break. It will be really nice to spend the holidays with my family. Travel safely everyone!

Being sick during summer is awful. It's just a head cold and nothing that would be a real excuse for me to call out. It just makes everything uncomfortable. I think I'll be heading to bed early tonight. Maybe a little extra sleep will help me get rid of this quicker. If I could find a comfortable position to sleep in.

The weekend passes far too quickly every time.
Saturday is usually reserved for fun things like catching up with friends. And Sunday is full of things that are the exact opposite. Like laundry, ironing, food shopping.
And I am almost finished with all of those far from fun things! Go me. Time for a cup of coffee!
